JUST IN CASE YOU THOUGHT YOUTH WERE “POWERLESS” NOW:
It turns out that a group of 12 college kids under the guise #ItsBIGGERthanYOU (a youth social justice group devoted to equality overall worldwide) organized the 5000+ person march and rally to the Atlanta CNN Center for Mike Brown with JUST A TWEET!!
They will be just one of the many youth activists and students from around the nation heading to Harvard University this weekend for a social justice conference after being invited by ITOOAMHARVARD!!!!
Yes! Those same great people! It turns out they’ve sent an open invite out across the nation to youth activists to participate in a “blacktivism” conference which is about to be HUGE in coming up with a gameplan to combat the system or oppression. We can’t act as if adults will rule the country forever- this is our time to change the world NOW!!
p.s. there will also be an early premier of “Dear White People” at the conference!! :))
